Beliefs

Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is God's Word, that God gave it to men without error, and that it alone is the sufficient source of authority for all belief and practice.

God

We believe in one God who is all-powerful, all-knowing, everywhere-present and never-changing; We believe in one God Who exists in three distinct yet equal persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is 100% God and yet 100% man, and that nobody comes to the Father but by Him.

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a member of the Triune Godhead, that He is a personality and that He affects the Father's plan in this world by glorifying Jesus Christ and directing men to Him.

Man

We believe that man is a sinner totally depraved of any ability to save himself from the wages of sin, death. We believe that all men will spend a conscious eternity in one of two places, heaven or hell.

The Gospel and Salvation

We believe and proclaim that Jesus Christ was born of the virgin, lived a perfect, sinless life, was crucified on the cross because of our sins, was buried and was miraculously resurrected on the third day. We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of all who would call upon Him as Lord. All who do so are completely forgiven of all their sin and declared just in the sight of God.

Sanctification

We believe that Christian growth comes through trusting obedience in Christ as the Spirit of God uses the Word of God to make us like the Son of God for the glory of God.

Eschatology

We believe in the imminent rapture of the church, the 7-year tribulation period, the 2nd Advent of Christ and His 1000-year millennial reign, followed by the eternal state.
